    Course Content:

    Students study physical, inorganic and organic chemistry, including atomic structure, reactions, energetics and advanced analytical techniques. Practical work is embedded throughout the course.

    Assessment:

    Assessment is through written examinations at the end of the course, with students completing six papers for Combined Science or nine for Triple Science.

    Exams assess knowledge, application and analysis through a mix of short answer questions, extended responses and data interpretation.
