A fantastic Results Day at UCS Bolton! We are incredibly proud to celebrate another outstanding set of results, with students achieving record results in key subjects and taking their next steps into university, apprenticeships and employment. Applied Science students achieved an average grade of Distinction*, the highest outcomes achieved in the qualification at UCS Sixth Form, while our Engineering students achieved the best results in the history of the sixth form. We are also on course for a third consecutive year of 100% positive destinations, with students progressing into university, higher and degree apprenticeships, employment and further training. Congratulations to all our students, including: Sofia – Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction, progressing to the University of Salford to study Podiatry. Stephanie – Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction*, securing a Healthcare Assistant Apprenticeship with Brighter Futures. Zertashia – Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction, securing a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship at Rodericks Dental in Farnworth. Raghda – achieving outstanding results in Applied Science and progressing to the University of Salford to study Nursing. These results are a fantastic reflection of the hard work and determination of our students, alongside the dedication of our staff and the strength of UCS's academic, technical and vocational curriculum. With the warm weather set to continue, all pupils can wear their PE kit to school from Wednesday until further notice if they wish. Please ensure children come to school with a water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.
