Health & Social Care Foundation

Course Content:

Students study practical clinical and first aid skills, such as infection control, moving and handling patients and basic life support/emergency response, to safely support individuals in health and social care settings.

Assessment:

Assessment is project-based and includes demonstrations, presentations, case studies, journals and assignments.

It also incorporates employer engagement activities and a final synoptic project, with GCSE English and/or Maths delivered alongside where required.
